Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ
At Knott Avenue Christian Church we believe that the "Best"
news anyone can hear is that their sins can be forgiven by putting
their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
Evangelism is getting involved in the process of being a messenger
of that "good news". The Evangelism ministries of KACC
are geared to provide training and opportunities to share the
gospel in the way that fits you best according to the way God
gifted you. We are excited about the multiple approaches offered so
that you may live in exciting obedience to the Great Commission
by "making disciples (committed believing followers) of all
nations" according to Matthew 28:18-20.
As the Evangelism Pastor, it is my goal to help every person at
KACC to be trained to share the gospel and find their most effective
strategic style so they can REACH their "not yet Christian"
friends and family through their own personal evangelistic path.
Below are listed various opportunities you can plug into to get
involved in "Sharing the Good News" in the community in
which you live.
Evangelism Training
This 10-week course in the proclamational style of evangelism is
offered 3 times per year in the Fall, Winter & Spring. It will
teach you how to share your faith verbally so that you can declare the
"Good News".

| Servant Evangelism Saturdays |
|
Learn the Service and Invitational styles of evangelism on the 2nd
Saturdays of each month at 10:00 a.m. Servant evangelism is focused
on serving the community with unconditional acts of love that help
people sense and feel the love of God in a way that makes them want
to understand the love of God.

| Sports Outreach |
|
Learn Relational Evangelism participating in leagues and events to
build a bridge with our "not-yet Christian" friends,
neighbors, and co-workers so the Good News of Jesus Christ can be
shared and demonstrated in a fun and relaxed way.

| P.T.A. (Prepared To Answer) |
|
|
Learn to use the Intellectual Style of evangelism to understand
and communicate your Christian faith reasonably and logically
with those who believe differently.
|
|
| Penetrating Prayer |
|
|
Prayer Evangelism is praying with an intentional plan for specific
people, neighborhoods, workplaces, and strongholds that set
themselves up against the work of God.
|
|
| Internet Evangelism |
|
|
A couple of times a year, primarily Christmas and Easter, we will
be launching Internet campaigns to share the gospel all over the world.
|
|
| Invitation Cards |
|
|
Use Invitational Style Evangelism by handing out 10 cards each quarter
inviting friends, family members, co-workers or anyone else to visit
Knott Avenue. Pick up your 10 invitation cards in the tract racks of
the church lobby and hand them out every chance you get with a friendly
smile and personal invitation to our church.

| KACC Member Challenge |
|
|
Each member of Knott Avenue is challenged to identify 7 not-yet-Christian
people they can cultivate the love of God into so they may sow the
truth of the gospel with the intent of seeing the Holy Spirit reap
them into the Kingdom with the ultimate goal of becoming productive
disciples of Christ.
