Life Recovery
When struggling with an addiction, we eventually come to realize that our life has become unmanageable and that we are destroying not only ourselves but our loved ones as well. We need to break the cycle, but are so often powerless to do so.
But the Gospel of Mark has good news for us! Jesus is both powerful and able to help us! Remember, He raised the dead, gave sight to the blind, and gave lame people the power to walk.
Jesus is more powerful than our dependencies, problems, and weaknesses. He has the power to help us all with recovery and new life, no matter how terrible the past. All we have to do is look to Him and admit that we need His help.
Let's work this out together. Join us at Life Recovery; we meet Friday night at 7:00 in CC Room 205. First-time visitors are welcome. Childcare is provided.
