The Goal of Knott Avenue Sports is to provide athletic events that build a bridge with our “not-yet Christian” friends, neighbors, and co-workers so the Good News of Jesus Christ can be shared and demonstrated in a fun and relaxed way. These leagues and activities are great opportunities to get to know others and invite friends who wouldn’t normally feel comfortable going to church. Softball - Every Fall we offer an Adult Competitive Softball League.  This is a competitive adult league open to anyone wanting to play up a level in intensity.  Registration is open to men and women but co-ed rules will not appy.  The league usually starts in mid September and finishes up in November.  Watch for information at the Evangelism booth some time in August 2012.

Volleyball -   Beginning on February 12, we will offer a co-ed volleyball league, with a 3 league format."A" League = Advanced skills, "B" League = Intermediate skills/game knowledge, "C" League = Recreation/"fun times".  CLICK HERE for an in depth description of the skill levels before registering.  The League fees are $40.00 per person and is open to men and women 16 years and older.   Game times are on Sundays at 2:30, 3:30 or 4:30 p.m. at Buena Park Junior High Gym, usually from February 12 through April 22 (no games on Easter Sunday).   REGISTER HERE or at the Evangelism Booth after any service.
