Baptism
is an important step in the life of a Christian. It is the outward
acknowledgement to the world that you desire to be obedient to Christ, and to follow
him. We would consider it a blessing to share in this event with you. If you would
like to get baptized at Knott Avenue, here's what you need to do:
Come forward at the invitation at the end of the service to talk to a decision counselor about your faith and desire to be baptized. |
Knott Avenue has some baptism clothes available, but to be sure, you can bring your own. KACC provides towels. |
Men can bring a dark colored T-shirt and a pair of shorts. Swim trunks work well. Ladies can wear swimsuits under their clothes. |
Knott Avenue provides private changing rooms to get ready. |
After changing clothes, you will be instructed by the person baptizing you about what you will do and say. |
Be sure to invite friends and family to witness your baptism. |
